Yong Jing has two Chinese restaurant's within walking distance of each other on Anzac Parade in Kingsford, this is my favourite of the two, mainly because
We ordered boiled fish fillets in oil, prawns on vermicelli soup and crispy chickens.First of all the fish fillet was absolutely divine. This is one of my favorite Chinese dishes and this place had a slight different cooking style than other Szechuan Chinese restaurants. This dish was much less Spicer version than usual however it was very nice. Fish was fresh and the sprouts were cooked in perfection. I also love the fact you can order small or large option of this dish. Crispy chicken was also fantastic, it was made with chicken thighs only however it was not even little bit chickeny at all. It was so fresh and tasted perfect. The only dish I didn't love so much was prawns on vermicelli noodle soup. First of all the prawn wasn't peeled so it is a little messy to eat also the actual prawn didn't taste that good. However the soup and noodle tasted pretty good. I think if they serve this meal with peeled prawns, it would improve this dish so much more. Service was nice and friendly. All and all, I really enjoyed dining here.
This is the best place I ever been in kingsford, with extensive menus and good services. The chicken I had named Crispy skin chicken with ginger and shallows is the best i reckon and I also like their honey prawn. The price is reasonable as well especially in lunch time, the cheapest dish is only 7.2 with meats, rices and vegetables. I think u guys should try there, give me a different feeling compare to others
Again it was a local joint and go to on lazy days...fast and fresh food...The fish with ginger and shallots is a must have...menu is extensive ..avoid in winters as super uncomfortable due to the inconsiderate customers not closing the sliding doors...makes it unpleasant but a great take away option. Keep it up
This is a very typical Chinese style dish: a mixture of fresh, hot flavours in a hot pot. This is a classic combination of salty flavours. One of the best things about this dish was how hot and fresh it was. In addition, the tofu pieces were a good size. Soft tofu (referred to as bean curd above) when not fried, should be larger in size like the ones in the picture as they enhance the texture; if too small, it can collapse in the mouth.
