What Sally B doesn't like about Bonavista Social Club:
My husband and I were travelling on a very hot day. We had run out of water, and so we stopped at the Bonavista Social Club just to get something to drink. We told the server that we did not have a reservation, but only wanted something to drink. The server turned us away ! This is so unlike typical Newfoundland hospitality. Very unkind and unfeeling. We would never think of returning. View all feedback. What Mckayla Goyette likes about Bonavista Social Club:
This out of the way place is the happening location for a night out. They have the perfect location for whale watching while waiting for your food and wait you will. We arrived shortly after 6pm and finally got served at 7:40pm. The pizza is excellent and could easily serve 2 people even though they call it a personal pizza. The price is high - you can expect to pay around $20 for your medium size pizza plus drinks.... View all feedback.

read moreLocated on the west side of the peninsula on the rocky Newfoundland coastline, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with delicious oven-fired pizzas served on stone boards. Despite the challenging drive to get there, the stunning ocean views and fresh, homegrown ingredients used in their dishes make it worth the journey. Visitors can expect a wait, as reservations are not accepted, but the friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional food make it a must-visit spot in the region. The outdoor patio provides a beautiful setting for whale watching while enjoying your meal, and the homemade bread, unique pizzas, and fresh desserts make for a delightful dining experience. The owners and staff go above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit, showcasing the best of Newfoundland hospitality. Overall, this hidden gem is worth the trip for those seeking a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure in a picturesque setting.
