What a find in a small town. Rustic place with excellent food. Quite a good selection of items on the menu, and perfectly executed. We had the Surf and Turf and the Prime Rib with stuffed mushrooms to start. A truly wonderful meal. Great service. Highly recommend.
Honestly it’s shocking to see so many good reviews in recent time. Used to be a regular here, sometimes coming in couple times a week. That being said it’s very disappointing coming here nowadays! The service is terrible, the food is terrible, and the overall experience is bad. They give bread with the meal that’s hard as a baseball. The menu is half of what it once was, leaving you very few choices. I’ve given it a few chances now but how many times can you be disappointed and continue to return? If you’re looking for a below average experience I suggest going.
Have come to Longfellows many times the staff and meals have been top notch highly recommended
For appetizers, I tried the pita and spinach dip. The pita was deep-fried and the dip was quite spicy, so I'll rate it a 6. The stuffed mushrooms had a good amount of cheese and were cooked well, but the sweet stuffing wasn’t to my taste, so I'll give it a 5. The French onion soup had a very cheesy top, wasn’t too salty, and included bread for dipping, which I enjoy, so I’ll rate it an 8. The Banana Rum Punch was delicious, earning a perfect 10. The service was excellent, so I’ll give it a 10 as well. The views from the restaurant were nice, so I’ll rate them an 8.
We arrived for our dinner reservation as a party of four and were promptly seated. Although we initially had to catch the attention of a waitress to get things started, everything went smoothly after that. The service was friendly, and the menu offered a nice variety of options. Prices were reasonable, and the food was tasty. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable meal with friends.
