Simple set up hides the quality food. This place looks like any café but the standard of food is high. No greasy fish and chips. They allowed me to order off menu. Delicious. View all feedback.

$20 for 2 milkshakes and a biscuit? Should have realized then it would be best to cancel order and leave. The young girl who served us was pleasant and trying her best. The more senior person didn't seem to trust anything the two young girls did or said and hence was participating in every interaction/ order/prep. Coffees sat on the counter getting cold as did fish and chips. Train your staff then trust them to get on with it. Don't speak harshly to them in front of customers. It doesn't look good. After eventually being brought our milkshakes we had to ask for he biscuit and were given the wrong one. No it wasn't busy. Sorry we won't be back.
Service with attitude! The good: none The bad: Went with the family for late breakfast. We ordered our food and drinks. It was busy so we expected to wait for a little while. The drinks arrived 45 mins after we had ordered our meals/drinks. An hour later we asked if our food was on the way at which point we were still patient and understanding of the situation. We were told that its being cooked without being checked with whats happening to our order. So I thought ok, we will give them few more mins. 20 mins later, no food. At this point we had already been at the cafe for more then an hour, paid for our food up front as written on the counter were told again that our meals were getting cooked. Still calm and said we have been waiting for more then hour. 5 mins later the toast we had ordered arrived. Another 10 mins, no sign of food. We wanted to walk out at this point with paying for only what we have had and cancel the rest only to find out the cashier walking away from us and the cook coming back at us yelling that they are busy and short staffed with the meals in her hand. No apology for serving the meal ordered over an hour and a half later and trying to laugh it out and talking over the customer to their staff of how fantastic job they are doing. Just proving a point that we should have never come to this cafe in first place and it would be most definitely the last time I was going to be there. I have worked in the service industry for over 10 years and I do understand what its like being under the pump but it is never ever acceptable to yell at your customer, calling them a liar and top it all off have ever seen such an unprofessional customer service. I would highly NOT recommend anyone to go to this cafe unless you would like your meal to be served 2 hours later in the busy hours. FYI, this cafe is in Tasmania, not Victoria.
We just had a delicious breakfast at this cafe on the beachfront, with a lovely view. I had fresh berries (raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries) with excellent yogurt and muesli served in a tall glass so pretty! My partner had tasty fresh fruit salad and muesli. Tea and coffee also v good.
Don't let the simple appearance fool you - the food at this place is top-notch. It may look like just another café, but the quality of the dishes is outstanding. None of the typical greasy fish and chips here. And I was even able to request something that wasn't on the menu - and it was absolutely delicious.
We visit this charming cafe regularly, typically twice a week. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with bowls available for dogs, newspapers, a fantastic view, and delicious breakfast options. I usually enjoy the egg and bacon rolls, while my husband prefers the full breakfast. The food is always excellent, and the coffee is also top-notch. It's a favorite spot for both locals and tourists.
I went to this restaurant with a friend for breakfast and it was fantastic. The portions were very generous and there was a great selection on the menu. The location was also very pleasant.
