Wanted something different for dinner instead of noodles etc so stopped in here and grabbed fish and chips. Beautiful Australian cod for my fish and you get a choice, crumbed or battered. Not too much batter which was great and the fish, chips and calamari were not oily which was even better.Very friendly service here, will be back to try a hamburger and a kebab View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lee's Kitchen:
Service is average. Staff don't smile or greet their customers. Our table was dirty and when I asked that it be wiped the fellow still put my food down on the table without wiping the table. Very disappointing. Eventually a lady came and wiped the table while my friends and I held our food up in the air.Food and coffee are average. All I can say is a smile goes a long way to keeping your customers happy. Huge selection of takeaway food or there is plenty of seating. The food very well cooked, ingredients are fresh, turnaround time is quick. A very good eating in experience was had in a clean relaxed area. Price was very good.
Decisions...........Decisions what do I feel like eating, So I ordered both the premium Steak burger and the premium Mince pattie burger......And you know what I was pleased I did as I would of been wondering what the other was like had I ordered only 1. Neither was over flowing with the usual condiments sauces to take away the flavour of under or over cooked meats or burnt added extras. Everything was just right in my little world of burger tasting. Only pleased or disappointed about 1 thing I didn't order any sides, Chips, Onion Rings, Baked Potato, Rice, Lentils, Gnocchi or whatever sides there are. Will return and BUT still wouldn't know which burger to get........Decisions Decisions
Huge range of take-away food. Fast service, friendly and attentive staff. Shop was clean. Coffee is very good, prices very good. Great place to meet family or friends for a snack or meal.
I was driving through Kingaroy for work and I wanted something different to Red Rooster for gluten free lunch options. I saw the sign that said, healthy takeaway , then saw a car park out front and took a chance. I was almost blown away with excitement when I saw the sign for gluten free caramel slice and gluten free bread for sandwiches. I ordered a chicken, cheese and avocado on GF bread, and my companion ordered a steak sandwich, potato scallops and chips. He (15 year old boy) said his steak sandwich was great. The medium chips was quite a large serving, and well cooked. For me, the elegant simplicity of a well constructed sandwich, with gluten free chicken, on gluten free bread, just blew me away. It 's so long since I 've been able to order a sandwich for lunch! They had a good selection of cold drinks, a grwat range of sandwich fillings and the usual fried foods for a takeaway in the bain marie. The decor and furniture is functional. The service was friendly and outstanding in its competence. Prices seemed very reasonable; I paid $11 for my sandwich and a flavoured mineral water. This lovely little cafe will be my standard go to for lunch, and possibly dinner, when I am next in Kingaroy. Thank you, Lee 's Kitchen, for being there!
Great food and coffee for a quick and casual lunch. Service is prompt and friendly for eating in and taking away.
