When I think Crowne Plaza I think new, top of the line.. this missed the mark by a mile and certainly wasn’t worth the $180/night. The room was clean but there were spots that could’ve used a little more TLC. It’s certainly an old hotel that could use a little more sprucing up. The lobby area looked very nice but the rooms certainly missed the mark. The bathrooms were crusty dusty with areas of mold beginning to form... View all feedback.
What Jan Witkowska doesn't like about Crowne Plaza Philadelphia King Of Prussia, An Ihg:
Stayed here last night. Had two rooms. One room was great, no issues. The other had mold in the bathroom in several areas, bloodstains on the sheets of one bed which appeared new, and a few goldfish snacks on the floor (not near the walls where they could have been missed). It appeared the room had just been remade and not cleaned at all. Three of us squeezed into one bed for the night. It was after 9pm when we arriv... View all feedback.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia. The lobby is beautiful with lots of workspaces. The room was very clean and didn't have any funky odors. Everything worked properly. It was quiet and comfortable, the staff are all very friendly and polite. The breakfast is fantastic but it is not included (something to keep in mind). It is located beside a large mall with multiple restaurants which was fun. Overall a 5 star experience!
I am temporarily working close to this hotel so I decided to call to get rates. The KOP phone number transferred me to the toll-free number. I asked for rates at King of Prussia in Pennsylvania but the representative couldn't even find this hotel on her list. Anyway, I eventually booked a few dates but there was an issue when I checked in because the toll-free rep gave me a price but didn't tell me that was just for the first day. The following days the rates were considerably higher.Ackeem, the front desk person, was very friendly, and worked out an agreeable compromise. He was very pleasant and really wanted my business. The hotel is just a little bit dated, but it's quiet, clean and has everything you need.,
Check in was really fast and professional. The grounds, hallways, and rooms all clean and nicely kept up. Furniture in the room was a little weird but that is what it is. We were impressed with how quiet it was we thought because of the location there would be a lot of traffic noise but it was fine. The only honest reason we gave four stars instead of five was because of the breakfast. We don't mind paying for breakfast but it was $15 a person and not worth it in our opinion.
The lobby was welcoming and the check-in front desk Adrianne was absolutely charming to talk to. We engaged in conversations about our pets because there was a reset taking place while I arrived. Her great attitude and conversation made up for the extra time it took to check-in.Nice mattresses and comfy rooms and great water pressure for the shower.UNFORTUNATELY, the house-keeper or other staff took my daughter’s exercise shorts. I saw them under the covers before we checked out and we missed checking for them before closing the door and heading to the front desk.We arrived home in the evening and my daughter noticed the shorts missing from her belongings. I subsequently called on several occasions looking for the shorts at the lost and found at the Crowne Plaza. It’s been almost two months since our stay April 23-25 and I am 100 percent certain that someone with access to the locked room stole the item of clothing. What a shame.I have stayed at other IHG Hotels world wide and have forgotten several pieces of jewelry Athens make-up bag Netherlands jackets and sweater Paris and my favorite boudoir pillow in Kuala Lumpur they offered to mail it to Cairo Egypt where I was visiting I am bewildered why someone would take a simple pair of shorts not belonging to them. I’m extremely glad I did not have housekeeping clean my room during our stay.We are an IHG family for the last twenty years. My husband works for this particular brand.

But it was extremely uncomfortable.
