We visited on a Sunday for a christening and it was fairly quiet. The pub has a large beer garden in the back, which I imagine would be beautiful to sit in during good weather. The only strange thing was that they didn't serve tea or coffee, which is unusual for a pub. Other than that, it's a nice place.

We order... read more We had a great experience at this restaurant with fantastic service and a warm welcome. The delicious home-cooked food made for a perfect early dinner. We ordered the chicken curry and a Cajun chicken burger, both of which were very tasty. The Guinness was also excellent.

We didn't have any prior expectations, but it seemed like th... read more We had some time to spare before catching a ferry, so we decided to stop by here for Sunday dinner. We didn't have any prior expectations, but it seemed like they had a busy afternoon when we arrived just before 4 o'clock. Many tables weren't cleared, and it looked like there were only a few staff members working. However, our drinks and menus arrived quickly. More staff appeared and the dirty tables were promptly cleared. The food was delicious - I had stuffed mushrooms and my husband had wings. We both enjoyed the barbecue sauce and a variety of vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, and roasted meats. Unfortunately, we had to skip dessert due to our time constraints.

Friendly welcome, very accommodating and excellent food. Highly recommend!
