Was Anonym at Turntable a mag?
I had the fish platter, which included a pot of hot mussels and cockles plus two large pieces of fish—it was truly delicious. A friend ordered the rigatoni with chicken and mushrooms and enjoyed it just as much. Others in our group opted for the burgers, which also received high compliments. For dessert, we treated ourselves to pavlova, sticky toffee pudding, and cookie dough with ice cream, all fantastic. I loved ev... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Turntable:
First of all, the service was excellent. I ordered the fish and chips, which cost €17 and felt a bit overpriced. The batter was too crispy and kept falling off, though the fish itself was good. My husband chose the steak, but it had quite a bit of gristle and was overly salty. Considering the price, it came without any salad or vegetables. Overall, the meal was mediocre. View all feedback.
Wonderful restaurant offering beautiful views of Killybegs harbor. The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful throughout, even providing excellent recommendations on local dishes—two of which we tried and both were outstanding. We will definitely be returning!
I visited my cousin Mary Flaherty in Killybegs and stayed for five nights. For three of those evenings, I dined at Turntable. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant offers a beautiful view overlooking the Atlantic. The highlight was the staff: the manageress Yvonne, a friendly and humorous young man named Jonny, and a young woman named Deborah, who I couldn’t help but notice was very attractive. One of my favorite dishes, monkfish and prawns, was on the menu and absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to returning next July.
We were truly impressed by the quality and variety of the food at Turntable. Their cocktails were exceptional; the bramble gin was fresh and delicious, and the pornstar martini rivaled any we’ve had elsewhere. It’s top-notch food and drink without the inflated prices. I had the fish platter, which included a pot of steaming mussels and cockles along with two generous pieces of fish—it was simply divine. Another person enjoyed the rigatoni pasta with chicken and mushrooms, which was also excellent, while others went for the burgers. The desserts were outstanding—a pavlova, sticky toffee pudding, and cookie dough with ice cream. I loved every aspect of this place and will definitely be coming back!
Passing through Killybegs one evening, we called in to Tara Hotel restaurant for an evening meal. The staff were excellent , the premises were recently revamped to a high standard. The food was excellent with large portions and we would certainly recommend this venue.
We had a fantastic evening at Turntable, a delightful restaurant featuring roomy seating perfect for big families. We enjoyed the prawns and monkfish, served with a side salad, and both were delicious and fulfilling. Parking was a bit tricky around 7 PM, so I had to park a little farther away. The restaurant also offers a stunning view.
