The staff were excellent , the premises were recently revamped to a high standard. The food was excellent with large portions and we would certainly recommend this venue.

The st... read more I recently visited my cousin Mary Flaherty in Killybegs and stayed for a few nights. One evening, I dined at Turntable, and it was an amazing experience. The staff, including the manager Yvonne, were excellent. Jonny, a young man with a great sense of humor, made the evening even more enjoyable, and Deborah, a young woman who caught my eye, was very charming. They served one of my favorite dishes—monkfish and prawns—which was absolutely delicious. I’m already excited for my visit next July!

During my recent visit to Killybegs, I had the pleasure of dining there four out of five nights. The menu offered excellent quality dishes with a great variety at reasonable prices. The stunning view of the Atlantic added to the experience. It was wonderful catching up with Yvonne and Deborah, who are not only fun but also provide friendly and efficient service. One sunny day, my friend Mary and I wanted to enjoy a glass of wine and a sandwich outside, but Christine informed us the outdoor area was being cleaned. To our delight, she quickly arranged a small table and chairs on a balcony with a fantastic view so we could enjoy our lunch. I was truly impressed by this exceptional level of service. Killybegs is already a charming town, and Turntable at the Tara is the perfect finishing touch.

We enjoyed the prawns and monkfish, served with a side salad, and both were delicious and fulfilling. Parking was a bit tricky around 7 PM, so I had to park a little farther away. The restaurant also offers a stunning view.

The menu was outstanding, and the service, particularly from Deborah, was exceptional. I can’t wait to return to Killybegs in July with Mary. Every restaurant is fortunate to have someone like her on their team! Annie x
