I 'm from out of State and came to the conclusion that no discerning being could be expected to spend time in Texas without eating Mexican food. As I drove back from the Christmas light show in Belton, my beloved passenger/wife searched the web on her phone for a place to eat in Killeen and found LA Familia. It 's the type of place you 'd miss unless specifically guided there by fate...and Google maps. To put it brie... View all feedback.
First time jolly customer.I arrived an hour before closing time and noticed the owner was closing up, she explained how she was closing earlier than usual as it was a slow day. I was craving pupusas so I asked her if she knew of another place near by that sold them. She named a few but then offered to reopen her restaurant and prepare some if I was okay with waiting for 15 minutes, no hesitation. MADE MY NIGHT.Pupusas we’re delectable and came with a bag of tortilla chips and piquant salsa. She gave me her business card letting me know I could call for an order and she would have it made ready. Super friendly service, wholeheartedly exceeded.
I just moved to the area and was craving tacos. I did not feel like cooking so I stopped by La Familia. I am so glad I did! I ordered the chicken fajita nachos and a beef fajita taco. EVERYTHING was fresh and well seasoned. The owner took time to package my order carefully and they make you feel like family every time. It was so good I went back the next day. Lol! See you soon La Familia!
Good food, nice people. We'll definitely be back to try more on the menu.
The food is incredible, the owner is so sweet and kind. This is my new favorite restaurant in Bell County.
Really great service. The pupusas were very good and so was the champurrado.
