Billy Bob's Burgers - Killeen

The best burger in Killeen! They also offer cheese curds, which is a great bonus. The staff is incredibly friendly.

The staff is extremely friendly! The burgers are massive! The fries and mozzarella sticks are delicious! I tried the burger of the month, the bar burger.

This is a great spot for a classic burger. The patty is thin with a nice char on it. I can't imagine ordering anything less than a double unless I'm having a really rough day. As I mentioned in a previous review, the patty definitely has some seasoning, particularly pepper, but it's not overpowering. The fries are also quite good. I appreciate the variety of options for add-ons, including a fried egg, which I find appealing.

How difficult is it to get a 3 ingredient burger done correctly? We made it very clear that for my burger there was a food allergy to mustard. To make it simple I ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup and grilled onions ONLY! Nope came out with everything including mustard! The remake they STILL couldn’t get correct but at least this time they just left off an ingredient that we paid extra for (the grilled onions). The owner or manager needs to step up and pay closer attention because the cooking has seriously gone downhill! The remade burger was dried out (like a hockey puck) the bun was hard and seemed stale. I’m actually now on my way to McDonald’s to get something that doesn’t look like it was made 2 days ago. It’s really sad because we had been loyal customers for years but we are done. I’ll see about posting a photo of the burger after I get something decent to eat! Really sad commentary that a McDonald’s cheeseburger is more moist that the burger at Billy Bob’s. Oh and before writing and posting this review I did attempt to call and speak with the manager but as others have said in their reviews there was NO answer! I tried 3 different times and let it ring at least 20 times each call!

Watch them when they are looking, the local Burger community vibe this place got it. the burgers tend to be a little on the more fat side, the notes are on the site, and not badly better than the last visit.
