The hotel offers a mix of experiences, with outdated rooms but a cozy bar and lovely dinner. Must say it was an absolute pleasure to stay ,the staff were lovely and very helpful also Jennifer in reception was outstanding once again thank you and we will be back
Hotel was nice but the bedrooms are quite outdated, the bed itself wasn't as comfortable as hotel beds normally are. When we first got to our room we had a problem with the TV as the remote control would not work, after some time we eventually had to move rooms. The bar in the hotel is lovely and cosy, and the dinner we had there was very nice. The breakfast was good too. IMO it wouldn't be a 4 star hotel but it was still nice for a Valentines break away.
Beautiful staff in restaurant and hotel. mockless room with everything they need. we are looking forward to returning to the end of juli.
This venue must be a very special place run by a very special person. The hotel is currently closed to the public. It is being used to serve Ukrainians, most likely those displaced by the war. Thank you for your service.
We always choose The River as our base for our annual golf trip to Kerry. It’s a cherished tradition that brings our family together from all over the world to take part in the Kerry Pro Am. We can’t wait to return next year.
