Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews with some patrons disappointed in the food quality and service, while others enjoyed the fresh seafood and friendly staff. Despite some inconsistencies in food preparation, the fish and chips, crab claws, and hake received high praise. The atmosphere was compared to a fast-food joint, but the delicious food made up for it. Guests also appreciated the service from waiter Nick. Overall, the restaurant offers a decent dining experience, with fresh seafood and well-cooked dishes being the highlight. The only recurring critique was the lack of proper chips as the Irish prefer them.
Enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The food was delicious, service efficient and staff so friendly. Stephen greeted us and Laura took over and couldn't compliment her highly enough. We'll be back!
Great seafood, excellent service. They were kind enough to give me gluten free options. Had the garlic butter crab claws. Im going to say it was the best meal that I had all week nothing fancy, but very memorable. Thank you!
This is a lovely spot for a family lunch. A great atmosphere and we weren't rushed even though it was quite busy with people waiting for tables. I had the hake lunch special which was fab and the kids had the cod lunch special and they were happy too!
The service was good not so the food We had Cod chips the chips were very hard the beer batter was quite inedible , I had to peel the batter off the cod to enable to eat it also I had a cup of tea which was just like hot water.
The tastiest fish and chips you will ever find is here at Quinlans fish chips. I would give it five stars if it wasn’t for the painful manager that finds himself so amusing. How often can he use the “gentlemen prefer blondes” joke in reference to the local brew.
