We all enjoyed a delicious meal, with top-notch steaks and seafood. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the desserts were superb. The Open Door is a wonderful addition to Killala, using local ingredients in their dishes. We also enjoyed some great after-dinner drinks at Gilvarry's pub across the road. I highly recommend dining at The Open Door.

She describes each dish in a cheerful manner, and the presentation is simple but elegant, allowing the delicious food to speak for itself. My only disappointment is that this restaurant is far from my home, so I can only dine here when I visit The Old Deanery Holiday Cottages - another excellent establishment. I will definitely be returning soon.

Tanya was so nice made lots of time to chat with us... The food was amazing, from the steak to the chicken to the fish. And then the dessert. Can not fault this gorgeous little restaurant one little bit. Thank you Tanya.
