What User doesn't like about Two Roads Tavern:
We were very excited to try this restaurant, based on the pictures the food seemed delicious. We had a large party of eight which seemed to panic the waitress. We started with fried pickles and they were absolutely delicious. We all then ordered burgers and fries, the burgers were undercooked in the center and unappetizing for that reason and the fries were very overdone. The atmosphere of this restaurant was cozy, s... What a lovely little place! The server who attended to us was kind and attentive, with a smile that brightened the whole room. She also prepared some excellent cocktails. Overall, I had a fantastic experience there.
Absolutely delicious fried pickles, excellent beer (Lost Colony Nags Head IPA), a fantastic dinner, and truly exceptional service. I ordered my steak medium, and it was cooked perfectly. My wife requested a medium (large), and although it was medium, it was still great. The seasoning was spot on, and the grill marks were nice. Our server was fantastic and made sure our drinks were always filled. We’re already planning a return trip to the Outer Banks, and this restaurant will definitely be part of our itinerary! Don’t miss out on this place – it’s totally worth it!!!!!!!
Comfortable but fast, friendly service. Carolina Pickle Sole Chicken Sandwich was excellent. Very juicy and tasteful. Onion rings are also very good. Impossible burgers were well prepared as ordered. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!
Loved it here. Our server, Jack, was awesome. She was very charismatic and attentive. She checked on us often which is always nice. Made us feel like we were being taken care of and seen as actual people instead of just another table to wait on. The food was also very good, I'm definitely a huge fan of the fired pickles and the local brewed beers. Would fully recommend and we plan on visiting again during our next Outer Banks trip.
Don?t let the outside or location fool you. This place is good. Beer selection to please most beer snobs. Fresh local oysters. Killer apps. And delicious burgers and fries. Beat the over crowded usual scenes and come to this hidden gem.
