Take nothing from the old team Sandbars was one of our favorites if not the best happy hours on the beach. But Mark and Jen and the new team nailed the reopening and the food is just as delicious as ever. Crab legs, oysters, wings, slides... cold beer, it can't get better! We have no complaints about the previous team, as Sandbars used to be one of our favorite spots—if not the best—for happy hour on the beach. However, Mark and Jen, along with the new team, have successfully re-opened, and the food remains as delicious as ever. With crab legs, oysters, wings, sliders, and ice-cold beer, it just doesn't get any better! Congratulations to everyone involved, and best of luck! We will definitely be returning!
A few days ago, I experienced great service and enjoyed the best oysters I've ever had. The oyster stew served over potatoes was incredible. The menu had a fantastic selection, and I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in the Outer Banks.
During our travels in the area, we needed a spot for lunch and a drink. We came across this place in our search and were drawn to the menu, which seemed perfect for us. Once we sat at the bar, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. We’ll definitely stop by again the next time we’re in the area!

This used to be one of my go-to spots, now it's THE TOP SPOT, not only for happy hour either. Food is better than before and service is on point. Love the wings and the tuna was amazing!!!
