Mi Dore - Kilkenny

I recently tried out this place. I ordered an omelette which turned out to be a plain omelette with the filings cold and on top of a plain 2 egg omelette for about €13.50 and i did not eat it as it was very bland and the “fillings” were loosely on top of this plain omelette. I asked for coffee too. The staff were unfriendly towards us too. It was like we were a burden to them. They did not care we did not like the food and when we said please and thanks they ignored it. Avoid this place

Stopped here for morning coffees on a weekend trip because of the sign outside advertising fresh scones. The cafe seems well adapted with a one way system for customers to enter and exit. We took an outside table and ordered iced coffees and scones. The scones wer delicious, the arrived warm with fresh butter, jam and cream. The coffee was huge, great value for money but a little sweet for my taste and the staff were extremely friendly. Would definitely go back again!

No kids menu, you cant just order a plain sandwich (charged for chips even if you dont want them No half portions, no diluted juice overall definitely not a family friendly restaurant

€.50 surcharge because I paid €8.30 bill by tapping card? How can you possibly justify that? will not be back

I can confidently say that the breakfast we were served was the worst meal we have ever had. The sausages, bacon, and pudding were all overcooked and reheated, and the fried egg was inedible. We quickly left to find another place to eat and regretted spending money on such terrible food. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
