enjoy our lunch in this friendly cafe/bar on our trip to waterford. we had served our lunch in the pod outside. enjoy the blt and chips. after lunch we had a walk in the park before we continue our journey. will be back soon. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Pint Depot:
Hi i had dinner here a few weeks ago i had the fish and chips. Fish wasn't great it was full of grease so we're the chips maybe it was because they were busy don't know. And I had a point of carlsburg and that wasn't great either tested like pips weren't cleaned in a while im a bar man for a long time so I know the difference. In saying all that there was a lovely atmosphere there and the staff were nice View all feedback.
Fantastic food really well priced . Open fire . Can't go wrong here.
I've eat there twice while in the area for work. Couldn't fault it both times. Staff very friendly as were the locals. Food was fast and there was plenty of it. Very reasonably priced also. Great to see a business not trying to rob people like so many others. I will definitely be back.
Yesterday started with a meal with our families in the Pint Depot then a relaxing afternoon sitting outdoors in the beer garden having great craic and listening to good music...weather was great. I have to say that if you haven't eaten at the Pint Depot your missing out. There is no holding back on what's served up on the plate! Same with the starter and dessert. Quality is first class, great table service from the staff and JJ on the ball checking everyone enjoyed the experience. No frills and a very old school atmosphere, Great top quality food and service....Social Distancing rules all in place...what could be better than that! The Pint Depot, Royal Oak, Bagenalstown County Carlow.
Have been to the pint depot a few times and especially since covid it has been the most relaxed and comfortable I have been in a restaurant/pub setting! Excellent spacing is done throughout the venue and it makes it very comfortable for anyone to enjoy a pint and some grub! Highly recommend this place !
Had passed by the Pint Depot many times en route to Dublin but had never ventured inside. Found myself in the area Wednesday evening en route to a camogie blitz in Fenagh and decided to dine. Suffice to say it won't be my last time sampling the delights of this top notch family run business. From the moment I crossed the threshold the welcome was second to none. There was an ample choice when it came to dining options and the portions served were extremely generous. By today's standards €10 is an absolute steal and the service was more than satisfactory. Jukebox, pool table, daily newspapers and live horse racing on the tv as well the perfect mixture of young and mature clientele mean the Pint depot comes very highly recommended. Will certainly be visiting again. Kudos all round!
