Best Indian restaurant I've ever been to even if I've only been to a handful of them. Our server Chloe was amazing great and friendly service. The Tandoori Chicken was delicious and juicy, The garlic Naan was nice and crispy, the drinks are also delicious not too strong very flavorful. The view is really nice really close to the ocean. My wife and I came in the off season no wait times and they do have takeout as wel... View all feedback.
What JenniferKellogg doesn't like about Monsoon India Maui:
Tried the aloo gobi, chapati and chai tea. The aloo and chai both tasted watery and had barely and spice. I make better Indian food at home in my instant pot. The rice was overcooked so kind of mushy. Way too pricey for no flavor. My husband had similar sentiments about his meaty entree. View all feedback.
Very picturesque views and good quality Indian food. We are vegetarian and had the Mattar paneer which was great.
We’ve been going to Monsoon India for many years and the food is consistently excellent. We are used to very good Indian food back home and Monsoon India rates very high. They have a big vegan section which is not the norm for Indian restaurants. Even a vegan dessert which is delicious! The staff is very accommodating and service is good. There’s a separate vegan section in addition to the vegetarian section. The chana masala was decently tasty (but medium was mild so I’d order hot next time). We sat by the window at sunset, which was the best part. Super friendly staff too.

EDIT: We went back for a second time and ate inside instead of take out. We were informed that despite the vegan option being available online for take out and clearly labeled as vegan the Malai Kofta was NOT vegan. They put cheese into the veggie balls and we unknowingly ate it. The waitress tried to cover it up by claiming that take out is somehow different that eating inside and that the vegan malai kofta chef was out. It was clearly ****. Massively misleading and outright dangerous for those with lactose allergies! The veggie part of the menu has clear indication of vegan options and most veggie items can be made vegan. Awesome samosas (comes with just two, but so good! and has a vegan Malai Kofta which is a rare thing to find. We were very pleasantly surprised by this place.
