We were in Maui for 8 days and every night we ended up back at Dina's for cocktails and wonderful service. I will never forget the people I met there and the wonderful time I had. If you go, please try the pasta salad and ask the bartender for an FMH. You won't be disappointed. View all feedback.
What Jenny M doesn't like about Dina's Sandwitch:
The first time we went, they were waiting on their shipment and were out of everything. No worries, we worked with what was available. Didn’t get what we ordered. Went back again. This time we were charged $1.50 For a slice of cheese on a ham and cheese sandwich!? We had the same waitress, so I’m wondering if She doesn’t know how to read. She doesn’t write orders down . We just ordered what was on the menu; no extra... View all feedback.
Great little find for a sandwich and quick bite to eat
This place has some of the best sandwhiches. The atmosphere is kitchy in a good way, the walls are covered in dollar bills (worth almost 30k according to our waitress) and there's a 300 lb marlin on the wall. Drinks are strong, the mai Tai was especially good. Our waitress, Janet, who was 70 years old by the way, was attentive, engaging and very sweet. Will go there again the next time we're in Kihei.
The sandwiches were excellent. The waitress was nice enough. However I believe we waited at least 45 minutes if not longer to get sandwiches that didn't need to be cooked. It's very small in there as well. It is uniquely cute. I would say if you're not in a hurry it would definitely be worth your stop.
We had the cheesy hot dog, tuna sandwich, grilled cheese, and Reuben, and they were all delicious. Service was fantastic as well.
Take Rueben. It's literally a contender for the best rueben sandwich ever created. Take that Rueben!
