This place rocks. As someone from Seattle, it can be tough to find good coffee when traveling but this place really impressed. Props to Lava Java for their bold delicious espresso, and for not drowning their drinks in syrup. Wish I discovered the place before the last day of my trip so that i could visit multiple times during my stay. This place is going on my list of must-visits when back in Maui! View all feedback.
What Oliver B doesn't like about Lava Java Coffee Roasters Of Maui:
Con 1: no cold brew or frappe options. Con 2: they went light on the syrups making the white mocha taste like coffee and milk. But they have a cute souvenir shop! I would recommend Kraken or Kihei Caffe instead. View all feedback.
We enjoyed chatting with the employees at Lava Java! They were very friendly and the coffee is delicious and fresh!
Scott has great coffee. We’ve been on Maui for 10 days and unfortunately didn’t find Lava Java until our last day. Espresso is so good. Must get a cinnamon roll if you make it.
Got the matcha and cinnamon roll, both were very good and came out quick. Scott was very nice and talkative and the shop was a very chill atmosphere.
Strong delicious americano!! So delicious that we had to get 4 bags of coffee beans before we left! Also, the guy making our coffee is so friendly! Must visit!
Every time I visit Maui I have to get an iced coffee from this place. So bomb!!!
