Das Wirtshaus was close to my hotel. I made a reservation but arrived late as I got lost in Kiel looking for the restaurant. When I arrived late at 8 PM, the waitress was very snippy and said that seating outdoors was closed for the day. What a great place, the staff is friendly, fast and very helpful, the food was outstanding. Had the schnitzel with potatoes, mushroom gravy and beer gravy on the side, it was perfect! The strudel came with fresh whip cream and vanilla ice cream with chocolate on the plate. Perfect meal with perfect service. View all feedback.
