The restaurant in review offers a beautiful treetop garden atmosphere with good seafood and pasta dishes, but a burger was not well-received by one diner. Despite the lovely decor, chill music, and excellent service, another reviewer found the food to be terrible and tasteless, with disappointing menu items. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now permanently closed, leaving some customers unaware after making reservations. However, positive experiences were also shared, with praise for amazing drinks served by Robert at the bar and a pleasant dining experience with helpful staff like Amy. Other patrons enjoyed great food, stylish decor, and views of Key West, but some had minor complaints about oysters and slow service. A lunch stop was described as great with unique dishes like BBQ pork sandwich and excellent lobster and gnocchi appetizers. The atmosphere was deemed cute and the location provided a nice view, although one reviewer found the key lime pie lacking. The restaurant is permanently closed. I'm sure they're a lot off, but wish someone from there would get rid of the open table website. we were never informed by the restaurant or table they had closed. we had booked 2 months in advance, as we had gedimt there before and wanted the experience again. to show that it is closed, was a huge way. sad to see it.
On the treppenweg to a surprisingly beautiful, almost whimsical setting! cool and quiet, with a pleasant view of the streets below. the drinks menu and dinner menu offer both excellent choices. a great surprise of the limonade! our server, amy, was helpful, attentive and very personal. their anesthesia has really added our eating experience and of course it was excellent!
Great food and cute little restaurant looking over Key West. Wanted to sot outside but the weather didn’t cooperate. We were able to get a nice table by the window which worked out perfect.
We had an amazing date night at the Rooftop Cafe. Don’t let the name mislead you. Also, don’t be put off by the prices. Our total bill for dinner, drinks, and dessert for two was quite reasonable.
I'll be honest: Key West feels like Bourbon Street, just with better scenery. You still encounter all the same vibes and energy. The layout features a series of bars, and while it has its charm, it can sometimes feel repetitive.
