Pricey, but good food. Excellent service at table (Gina) and bar (Bill).

The food was great and the service was excellent! Prices matched the service and food. Definitely worth the stop!!

I have heard of people who talk Gibs up and down how it is the best place to eat. Waited to go till a special day our 9th wedding anniversary, well the cook grabbed the wrong steak for my husband’s order which he gladly ate I had the shrimp scampi. Both meals can out warm not even hot. Even though he did not get his Ribeye The New York strip was ok but over cooked. The scampi i ended up tossing out my leftovers as half way home I started to feel sick. Also had to ask several times for a soda refill first time was when the meal came last time was almost before I was done eating. Not sure if it is a better experience on the weekend vs during the week however I do not believe I will be back to try it.

We enjoyed our first visit in early June and loved how we were treated; the view from our table, service and the food were all wonderful. The bartender went the extra mile, learning how to make a fab Sidecar cocktail for me. Their deep fried apps (onion petals, cheese curds and pickles) were tasty. The Konigsberger Klopse meatballs in white sauce with capers and spaetzle were delicious as were the Rouladen and potato dumplings! Lava cake with Door County cherries and creme brulee were a treat, too! Highly recommend Gib's On the Lake!
