Was Emily Pirie at Roast Kitchen a mag?
I picked up a family pack after my oven broke halfway through cooking the pork. While $60 may seem a bit steep, we had plenty of food for five adults, even though the suggested serving is for three. The pack includes a generous portion of roast (we especially enjoyed the crispy pork crackling), a large foil container of vegetables, gravy, and sauce. Overall, it was a very satisfying dinner, and when you factor in tha... View all feedback.
What Allison Robel dislikes about Roast Kitchen:
Lucky the company was good, as the Sparking water from the fridge was the only good thing about this place. Clean and basic cafe. Mmmmm Carvery/Roast lunch with meat and vegetables. As a pescitarian I can usually find something to eat on a menu but here nigh on impossible !The meat was super fatty and inedible and the overcooked vegetables lacked imagination, texture and taste. No offer of a vegetarian option apart f... View all feedback.
Perfectly cooked choice of roasts and also lamb shanks etc. Wide choice vegetables. Clean but very simple furnishings. BYO. Generous helpings.
Visit at lunch time and the roast dinners we had were delicious and cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. We even took a dinner home as take away and again even at home it was just as good. We'll be back for more and this place cannot be faulted. Just good old fashioned roast food and I will be recommending it to family and friends. Well done to the owners.
I visited the roast kitchen along with three friends. Overall we were very disappointed with the quality of food and price. Admittedly the 'large plate' had lots of food but for $32 you would want to hope so considering it's not really a 'eat in' restaurant. The food itself was tasteless and bland which all of us agreed on, even the gravy they couldn't get right. Very disappointed! Wouldn't visit there again.

I've visited this place several times for their family pack roast takeout. They offer a wonderful variety of fresh roasted vegetables and delicious meat choices. It's truly a great healthy takeout option!
