The ambiance was very cozy. The Cobb salad was excellent. The cappuccino was delicious and clearly made with attention to detail. We sat indoors, but would definitely prefer sitting outside next time. We will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What Kevin Chao doesn't like about Roast Co:
They brew la Colombe and normally I love those beans but the espresso drinks taste just ok at best. The croissant tasted pretty unfresh more so like supermarket croissants, assuming the other pastries are similar. It’s a great location and outdoor seating can be chill but it’s hard to justify going back unless I was taking the train. The staff is super friendly which helps. View all feedback.
First coffee shop I’ve been to in NYC, absolutely love it. Everytime I’m in the area I look forward to getting coffee and a quick bite! They’re always super kind and considerate of everyone who steps into their shop, super cozy spot!

My family and I ordered bagels across the street. They don’t have a seating area at the bagel place and it was cold outside, so we came to this cafe hoping that they would accommodate us and let us sit down and eat.Obviously we didn’t expect to sit down in the establishment without ordering anything, so I ordered a Latte for myself, a Mocha for my wife and a bottle of water. I also tipped the employee helping me.After I paid, the person behind the counter told me we couldn’t eat our bagels there despite the fact that we were paying customers. It was cold out, I had my 1 year old son with me and we wanted to eat our breakfast. We were effectively kicked out. Extremely rude and inconsiderate. I will never come here again. The person behind the counter told me it was “store policy.” How about a little common sense and consideration?I threw my latte away after.
The owner was very attentive and kind. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere! I’d love to return again.
“I live in Kew gardens for the last 40 years. I know all the coffee shops that used to be in this place this time. here. The service is phenomenal and the food is delicious. The two men who run this place are the most compassionate, caring service oriented people that exist. Anyone who writes a poor review is a reflection of themselves.”This post is from my father, resident of the gardens for the last 40 years.
