The food arrived quickly and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

We sat right next to the door, and it kept opening every minute so peo... read more We had higher expectations based on the TV show. It was incredibly crowded and very loud. We sat right next to the door, and it kept opening every minute so people could smoke. Annoying, and especially cold. These people were standing right outside the door, making it difficult to even get into the restaurant. The restrooms, of which there was only one, weren't exactly clean. Very disappointing! Ordering via the QR code worked perfectly, but the service afterward was absolutely terrible. After 30 minutes, we were asked if we had ordered yet, and only then was our order taken care of. We hadn't even received our drinks by then. The fried potatoes were barely seasoned. They were cut far too thick and large, and there was no onion fried with them. The schnitzel was okay, but nothing special. My husband's spare ribs were good and tasty. However, they should perhaps reconsider offering the XXL size, as a lot of food was left on the plates and thrown away. That's not sustainable. We won't be coming back.

Upon arrival, we found a great, spacious parking lot just 100 meters away. Redo XXL has a lovely little beer garden with barrels that can apparently be used (a cool idea). We entered and received a very friendly welcome. Since we hadn't made a reservation, the server quickly checked and showed us to a table, which became free just before we arrived, so there were still drinks on it. The young woman said she would clean the table immediately, and immediately she did (truly super friendly and service-oriented). A second menu also arrived right away. They let us browse at our leisure (very nice, as many restaurant owners immediately ask about drinks), and we ordered our drinks and food. The young woman was also very friendly and helpful when taking our order; you could immediately tell that she enjoyed working there and had fun. The restaurant was already quite full at that time, but they still attended to all the guests' needs. The food arrived shortly after, and it not only looked delicious, but it was also incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned (simply superb). Even after the meal, we were very kindly asked if we needed anything else, but we were already quite full . Despite the shift change, the staff remained attentive throughout. A fantastic team, a very cozy atmosphere, and we'll definitely be back.
