I hopped in my car and 12 minutes later I... read more I was staying at a hotel without breakfast facilities due to an issue, so I searched online and found this restaurant. I hopped in my car and 12 minutes later I arrived at this quaint little village. The staff were friendly, letting me choose my own table and even mentioned that I was their best-dressed customer that day because I was wearing a suit for a funeral. I ordered quickly and the food arrived promptly. The portion was huge and I couldn't finish it all. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thanks to the staff, my stomach didn't growl during the funeral.

The Formidable Forge Fry-Up represents great value. It was freshly cooked to order (even accommodating a fussiness about the bacon) clearly using high-quality (presumably local) ingredients and presented well. All staff were very friendly and unobtrusively attentive, enhancing the experience of a lovely morning out.
