Was User at The Hare a mag?
I had an excellent meal here with my parents. large selection of traditional and more modern options on the menu. I went for the local brixworth pate, and we also had baked mushrooms and the cheese quattro for starter. all were generous portions, hot and fast...served for the net we had sampi, of which it served plentiful, chicken chorizo and mined lamb cake, all with chips and veg. we have enjoyed everything we had.... I visited this pub over 25 years ago, and I must say, it's now under new management and it was a delight to be here for lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly, and my mom, who can be quite hard to please, really enjoyed it. We finally have a place we can look forward to visiting more regularly! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

This is a charming pub with exceptionally friendly staff. The food and beer were excellent. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

The Hare offers an exceptional culinary experience that combines traditional pub fare with modern flair. Diners rave about generous portions, flavorful dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. Signature items like the local Brixworth pâté and nut roast have garnered particular praise, while the extensive gluten-free options cater to various dietary needs. The attentive and friendly staff enhance the dining experience, ensuring patrons feel right at home. Whether enjoying a hearty Sunday roast or delectable starters, guests leave satisfied and eager to return. With a cozy environment and delightful menu, The Hare is undoubtedly a hidden gem worth discovering.

We want to express our immense gratitude to the staff at The Hare at Loddington for providing us with a wonderful evening of delicious food and exceptional service.

Perfect! I eat here 3-4 times a week and have no complaints at all!

Lovely little country pub. Such lovely home cooked food, friendly staff even better home made puddings.

The food was fantastic and the ambiance was lovely. I am excited to return to this restaurant.

Never had a bad meal although there seems to be a problem with roast potatoes the last few roast dinners?

I had an excellent meal here with my parents. large selection of traditional and more modern options on the menu. I went for the local brixworth pate, and we also had baked mushrooms and the cheese quattro for starter. all were generous portions, hot and fast...served for the net we had sampi, of which it served plentiful, chicken chorizo and mined lamb cake, all with chips and veg. we have enjoyed everything we had. the only part was that we were so full that none of us had room for dessert! I would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to the visit again.

What a great pub, great pub food at a really good price and lots of it! chips were amazing! the staff are so friendly and helpful, a wonderful afternoon thanks!

Was only with the hare and had a nice evening. eating was amazing. the pub, the restaurant and the toilets are immaculate. the service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. stars from the family, highly recommended. thanks to all employees

I made it for a family dinner. great place to eat. the staff was friendly and helpful. especially the heart that served us was so beautiful. very impressed by the gluten-free selection and the clear signs on the menu, from the...gf for a village pub there was a lot of gf options even dessert. can recommend the gf apple cake thoroughly! the bill came simply for us that was just a little more than we pay in the rule, but it is worth for the quality and quantity of food. we all had appetizers, anyway, desserts, drinks, coffee and Irish coffee, so was still quite reasonable. we would definitely go back. by catching up with family births we have eaten several times in the last month or so and after every cure last night we all said our meal was the best we had where we were recently.

I went in a family group on a Saturday lunchtime. There were of us in all and we just wanted a quick meal and to catch up. Yes, as others have said it's easy to miss the turn for the car park but once...in there are plenty of spaces. We were quickly shown to our table and the waitress asked for drinks orders There is an excellent choice of ales, ciders, larger and wines although alcohol free beers are limited.... Looking through the menu there is an excellent range of foods. Some of us had starters which quickly arrived. Unfortunately the waitress (who was obviously new and being trained) missed one of the starters off her list to the kitchen which was only noticed when the other starters arrived. She was very apologetic and it was quickly resolved with a huge wheel of camembert arrived with loads of bread.... The mains were all hot, hearty and very well cooked. We had a range of traditional fish and chips, beef and ale pies, the vegan burger and a haloumi burger and others I can't remember which we all enjoyed Total bill was around for all. Great value we thought. We will certainly be going back. Well done everyone

This is a wonderful local restaurant with a welcoming staff. They have an excellent variety of beers and tasty dishes! Additionally, there's a garden and ample parking space.

Amazing food, A really nice atmosphere And such lovely staff We will be back

The restaurant was really busy when my party arrived. We were asked to choose our drinks and given the menus. Our drinks arrived promptly and after giving out choice of the menu it didn't take too long for it to be served. We all enjoyed our choices as the waiter could tell with empty plates. I shall certainly be visiting again at lunch time.

This was our first time visiting the Hare pub and right from entering the establishment it felt a friendly place. The staff were very polite and obliging. Everything, tables, chairs, crockery and utensils appeared clean and of nice quality. We ordered our food from the nice selection of dishes available. It didn't seem like very long before the meals arrived at our table, all at the same time and piping hot. If I had one minor suggestion to the servers, it would be that any salad accompaniments should be brought to the table first, rather than waiting for it to arrive after the main hot ingredients were already sitting in front of us, but this was only a matter of a minute or so. The sea bass ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious, my chips were excellent and no complaints at all from the rest of our party regarding any of their meals. Clean plates all round must be a good sign for any business serving food. The guest beer we had was Hobgoblin ruby red and was just as it should be. As usual the desserts in all these places are overpriced for what they are, however what we did have was very nice. Overall our visit was a complete success and all thanks to the great staff and good chefs. Value for money I would say was good and as such we will definitely be booking again in the near future. Many thanks

Staff always welcoming and helpful during visits and usually go above and beyond. Very good quality meals served. A great place to have a meal, drink and get together. Early table booking recommended for meals as it’s very popular.
