I have previously had a great experience at The Beeswing for lunch, although I found it to be a bit expensive for a pub on an estate. Unfortunately, my most recent visit over the weekend was quite disappointing. The tandoori chicken I ordered was mostly coleslaw, with very little naan and actual chicken, making me feel like I was being ripped off for £14. My daughter's standard burger, priced at £11.50, was extremely tough to chew, even after dipping it in the gravy provided for kids. My wife ordered a veggie pizza without peppers, but it came out covered in them. Although we were able to pick them off, the mushrooms were still tainted. My son's chicken burger was the only decent meal, and the staff were friendly, so we didn't complain. However, the kitchen definitely needs better quality control, especially considering the prices they charge. The meal was saved by a couple of pints of Madri beer, which was very enjoyable.
The Beeswing is a lively and popular neighborhood pub that offers a diverse menu of delicious food, including a fantastic Sunday roast. They also have a great selection of beers, ciders, and wines, all served with fast and friendly service. The staff at the bar are welcoming and helpful, creating a great atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
I hadn't been to this pub in years, but it's a fantastic spot located outside of the town center. The manager was welcoming and the bar staff were excellent. We were served by a man named Dean, who was very friendly and made us feel at home with his banter. The food was delicious - my husband ordered the gut buster burger and was blown away by how large it was. It seemed to be a popular venue, as there was also a private party taking place. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Always the nicest staff, friendly and willing to help amazing sunday Lunch really good value will be definitely going back
I visited the Beeswing on the 20th April as this establishment were providing the food after the sad funeral of a friend. I cannot thank the staff enough for providing some gluten free and vegan food options. They went out of their way to accommodate for this at short notice and the quality of the food was amazing. Very many thanks to all staff involved.
The Beeswing offers a vibrant atmosphere blended with friendly service and well-kept beers, making it a local favorite. While many patrons praise the quality of food and warm hospitality, some express concern over high prices and occasional inconsistency in dish execution. Recent visits highlighted both delectable meals, like perfectly cooked steak and thoughtful gluten-free options, and others that missed the mark, such as tough burgers and incorrect orders. Despite these discrepancies, guests appreciate the overall ambiance and attentive staff, promising a return for enjoyable dining and drinks in the heart of the countryside.

In any case. the best pub in chainring, the immense atmosphere of fun here, is intoxicating even before they have a drink on their own. please look at the wall art, try the deck 2. it is exciting and creatiw pop in have a pepsi, half a pint £1.55 see 4 your self. cheers.
We booked the function room at The Beeswing for refreshments after my Mothers funeral. Excellent set buffet menu, food was great and enjoyed by us all. The function room area integrates well in to the rest of the facility so you don't feel shut off at all. Overall a good choice. Thankyou for the excellent food, drink and friendly service
A great place, used as my local for many years, moved away and now drop in for food occasionally. The new owners have put in fresh food with one hell of a selection. The beers are well kept. Sunday carvery looks amazing but haven't had the time to sit and try it yet.
I don't very often leave reviews but we had such a good experience here tonight I felt it warranted a review. I had a rib eye steak cooked perfectly which is very rare as I have been disappointed in the past by so many restaurants that I rarely order steak now. My wife had a delicious fish pie and the beer was in great condition. I haven't eaten here for a few years but will be going back soon .well done to the chef and all the staff.
