Got there at 1pm on a Saturday, the place is open servin... read more Been before, had a takeaway. Was quite nice. Decided to take my partner and 6 month old baby for lunch. Got there at 1pm on a Saturday, the place is open serving people. For us to be turned around and told us the kitchen is closed but coffee is still being served. Turned down another customer behind us with the same answer. I would have thought a little coffee shop would have open arm invited us for food too if we wanted. 2x customers with a possibility of spending what £20 each? So because they couldn’t be arsed to cook some food they lost £40 of business! Yet they sit there with outdated decor and quite a dull appearance. Get some effort put in jeez!

We were delighted to find that all the food was freshly made and delicious. The restroom was clean and stocked with fresh towels and hand cream. We highly recommend stopping by for a meal.

It's called the plotters table because this used to be an inn at the time of the gunpowder plot and legend has it was one of the places that Guy Fawkes and his crew actually plotted blowing up the houses of parliament.
