Mcnally's Fairview Lodge - Kernville

My first experience with McNally’s Fairview Restaurant was 1972. The best steak I had in a restaurant over the last 18 years. My husband made reservations for her seasonal opening (they close after Thanksgiving and do not open until mid-February) for our 28th anniversary. Wonderful! 20 ounces Ribeye Steak, beautiful baked potato and a very nice dinner salad with freshly made ranch dressing. Our steaks were cooked for perfection. For us this is one of these restaurants that we reserve for special occasions. Johnny McNally died a few years ago, but I am pleased to find the standards and quality to which he is held back, are still maintained in the restaurant that bears his name.
