Starting with the sangria wine that was absolutely fantastic, then we were served the mozzarella sticks which were fantastic and I had the sauteed mushrooms that were very so very good followed by the clam chowder New England Style, my wife had the baked lasagna and I had tortellini and ravioli with light marinara. The service was fantastic the atmosphere was awesome with exception of one douchebag but there's always... View all feedback.
What Max Senger A doesn't like about That's Italian:
Visited in May of 2022. We waited to be seated for a long time, and nobody in the staff acknowledged us at all, even after going into the restaurant and talking to somebody directly. Finally we gave up and went to another restaurant. View all feedback.
Great service. Yummy food. The meat sauce is delicious. The alfredo is more cheesy than creamy but had a good flavor. The salad that comes with the meal us huge. The creamy Italian dressing was delicious. The garlic bread is just meh but if you tear little pieces off it's good added to the salad like croutons. The lasagna was delicious. The eggplant parmesan was a huge piece and delicious with meat sauce. The veggies and potatoes that come with the meal were just fair. The house wine was good. The spamoni ice cream was good and the chocolate mouse was good but could be a little less dense. Overall a great place to eat.
We saw 2 flies. One did circle our table for 15 seconds total as the other review mention. Not more than the usual that we see at the other restaurants. What we order was good. The clams were on the small side for our appetizer and main dish. We are Asians so it’s very Italian for us. The soup is also good. The restaurant is quiet on a week day. Overall, not bad.
The Alfredo and Lasagna were meh.. 2* at best. We were disappointed. We will never repeat. We had to add almost the full container of permesan powder on the table to make them eatable. Maybe do not reuse the same sauce for different types of meals. Add a tiny bit of salt. The marinara sauce was from a can, very basic one. The cheese sticks were cold inside.
Pretty bad food all around. Edible is the best I can say. Two steps below Olive Garden.
Called up for takeaway and quickly picked up generous portion at a good price. Proceeded to eat down at the park by the river. Was perfect!
