I asked if ice was available, and they said no. That’s fine, but it would have been helpful to know beforehand, as I would have chosen not to order a drink if I had known. Once we got our food and left, we realized we didn’t receive a receipt. Since we were on a business trip, we need a receipt for every expense, as we are spending someone else's money. We went back to request the receipt, only to be told that it had been thrown away. I explained that I hadn’t been given the option to take my receipt in the first place, as it should have been provided with my card at the time of payment. When I asked them to reprint my receipt, I was met with a flat refusal. I was incredibly frustrated because providing a receipt is part of their job. They were also speaking to me in an aggressive manner. Then, unbelievably, one of the employees actually dug through the trash to retrieve the receipt he had thrown away and handed it to me. This is completely unacceptable, especially in a place that serves food—specifically chicken, which can carry salmonella! I couldn’t believe he thought it was acceptable to give me a receipt that had potentially been contaminated. While I was parked waiting for a proper receipt, I noticed the staff inside laughing and not paying attention, and two more guys approached the locked door, grinning and glaring at me. It was an uncomfortable situation, and I felt genuinely anxious about it. Eventually, one of the workers did come out with a new receipt, which was promising, but then I saw that the dirty, partially wet receipt from the trash was actually stapled to it. You are running a restaurant that serves food! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE! At this point, I believe KFC should refund my entire order due to the time and gas I wasted, not to mention the serious health risks involved. I will never return to this location, and I hope management addresses these employees, as they clearly do not belong in the food service industry. To make matters worse, we have been feeling quite ill today after eating our meal last night and discovering that the chicken was pink inside and undercooked. I looked up health inspection records and found that there have been recurring issues with improper refrigeration and handwashing stations. Many reviews also mention undercooked chicken—this has been a long-standing issue! It is time for this restaurant to make some serious changes for the sake of customers’ health.
