The food, coffee, and service at this restaurant are excellent. However, the interior is in need of a serious renovation, and during winter, the dining room is too cold for indoor seating. Sharon's restaurant is much more beautiful for indoor dining. View all feedback.
What jon smith doesn't like about J.p. Gifford Market Catering Company:
Have been coming here ever since I moved to town. Things have changed a bit, younger staff now. Quality waivers on the food occassionally. Last week the hashbrowns I ordered were undercooked, and soaked in oil. Putting food items for pick up in a bag seems to ellude them these days. Americano listed as out of stock while they have espresso is interesting... View all feedback.
The staff at this restaurant are just as amazing as the food they serve. I tried the breakfast burrito with pommes frites (don't judge my strange combination) and it was delicious. The cashier went above and beyond to assist me and my companion navigate the construction in front of the store. I have been recovering from a leg injury for the past year and recently started using a cane.
JP Gifford features the top burgers in Kent! Trust me. Although I wasn't a fan of the other lunch options, I am a huge fan of the Old Blue burger and my husband adores the Sunny Side burger with avocado. These burgers are substantial in size and the toppings complement each other perfectly. Just a heads up, the fries are quite oily. Despite being hand-cut and trying all three varieties, they are just too greasy for my liking.
This charming restaurant is a hidden gem on the way to Kent Falls. We popped in for a quick bite and were greeted with warm and friendly service. The menu offers a variety of delicious options including sandwiches, baked goods, drinks, chips, as well as burgers and bowls.
When in Kent for repairs to my Volvo or Royal Enfield mods, JP Gifford should be your go to option for breakfast all day or wonderful luncheon treats. A stones throw from the Kent School, this treasured counter has something for everyone. Salads?Done. House made Roast Beef? Done. Avocado toast? Done. Definitely worth the visit.
Friendly staff, local atmosphere and great food with vegetarian options. The Taziki sauce was incredible!
