This is a fantastic spot for lunch. The service is excellent, and there is plenty of seating available. They offer outdoor games like volleyball and horseshoes, which adds to the fun. The food is good, though not extraordinary. With great entertainment and outdoor seating options, I highly recommend this place! View all feedback.
What K E doesn't like about The 202 Tavern:
I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. I'd heard a lot about this place and was excited to try it out. The setting is charming, right next to a lovely stream. However, they seemed to be really understaffed, with just one bartender and one waitress who were running around trying to manage everything. I felt sorry for them. Despite being overwhelmed, the waitress was very friendly. The food was just average.... View all feedback.
Visits with family (Party of 5). Fantastic food. No complaint. Young lady was very friendly and certainly attentive. She even changed the channel of the outdoor TV for a football (soccer). Not sure why you put a piece on my beer..(Image; that is the Ale, not Miller)
My wife and I tried this place on Sunday for the first time and had a great time! I had an onion burger which was fantastic and she had their steak melt! Food was amazing just took a little long to come out! Our server Christy was very friendly and attentive and we loved the river seating! We will definitely be coming back.
We liked it. The atmosphere was friendly and seemed to be a local popular dinner spot. Burgers were good, but the onion rings on the side were, well done. Fries were over done, or were they leftover from another day? Not so great. We've heard good things about steaks. Maybe another time. The fries and onion rings kind of turned us off. Friendly wait staff!!! Gracious and not over bearing.
We understand that bars are closed and happy hour is traditionally served in the bar area only. But you would think that you would either stop advertising happy hour, or tell the servers when asked that happy hour isn't being offered due to regulations. Or, offer happy hour outside to spur more sales during these times. Just my thoughts on good business from another small business owner. Otherwise food is good and fairly priced.
I would give it zero starts but that’s not an option. My friend and I have been there several times, horrible service, they mistreat us poorly because we’re in our younger 20s. No one checks on us, takes 10 15 minutes just to be waited on. They have served us drinks multiple times before, my friend didn’t have her wallet ID ONCE because I was driving (but have been served before just from being there multiple times when given ID) and they refused. Food took way too long, we got dessert to go and when the waitress brought the bill, we were charged for dessert but never received it. Really disappointed because this is our usual spot not anymore. Just a PSA my friend and I both make plenty of money and tip waiters waitresses more than usual, because we are selves are waitresses I’ve never tipped less than 25% but I recently tipped below 20% here because of how horrible they treated us here.
