College Bar to the core. But Ray's is also a fun, loud, energetic local restaurant to grab some drinks and eat delicious food. The wings are massive, huge portions, and full of flavor. I loved the garlic wings, stuffed mushrooms, and jerk fries. The restaurant is on the first floor but they also have a bar with pool tables upstairs. It's a very popular place, our wait time for a table in the restaurant on a Friday night was 20 minutes but we were able to wait upstairs at the bar. If you like sweet drinks, I really enjoyed the Fother Mucker and Long Island. They also have a shot wheel if you want to put your drink choice up to chance. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken Wings, Cheeseburger, Jerk Fries
I ordered the baby back ribs and they arrived at the table cold, as in straight from a refrigerator cold. After I was finally able to get the attention of our server, she offered to have them “put them back in the oven.” My wife was already finished with her burger (which she said was very good, salvaging a star for this review) and I wasn’t about to wait 30 minutes for my ribs to be properly warmed. I was given a box to take them home to finish cooking them and zero adjustment to the bill was offered or made. I paid $40 for the two of us to eat and all I enjoyed was a coke and a bowl of applesauce (the fries were just OK, having been cooled by the refrigerator ribs placed atop them). The indifference of the staff was as irritating as being served stone cold food. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
