I have been coming here for years, but must admit that due to the proximity to museums as well as the area, ice cream are pricey. nice two benches outside good for summer. View all feedback.
What percyvakil doesn't like about Scoop:
After a nice steak lunch in the neighbourhood I stopped here at Scoop for dessert. I noticed a bun in the display case and asked about it. Ice cream burger....I tried it. Sweet bun, slit, slightly toasted and two scoops of ice cream in between.I picked a scoop of Stracciatella and one of chocolate. The Stracciatella tasted better in the burger. View all feedback.
Scoop is a nice little caffe for gelato and dessert. to the regular ice creams, gelato is more plucked. they have a great selection of gelato and sorbets. I've tried with hazelnuts and this dark chocolate thing. the taste is incredibly creamy! the waffeln and crepes were delicious, but expensive, but the crepe has stuffed too much chocolate in it. remarkable are their fruit sorbets, which I cannot have enough of their passion, earthy and mandarin. in the summer it is mostly busy and there is always a waiting queue, but it is worth waiting for her application.
Scoop is one of the ice salons that I had heard a lot, and after haagn daazs I had somehow very high expectations. So today after many months of stay in london I finally tried to serve the gelato here and they were really good. the hazelnut gelato was simply from the world. I had also tried a vanilla vanilla with chocolate that was forgotten. but there were also sorbets who looked very appetizing and is on my list when I go next there. So I have a big sweet tooth and I tried the red velvet they had. Actually, I had better, and you can certainly miss that. everything in all it is a good place to go after eating and when they are like me. then at any time...read more
I've been here for years, but I have to admit that due to the proximity to muse and the opposite is expensive. beautiful two benches outside good for the summer.
Came here to fetch ice. asked which size the cups are and then choose a regular cup. after the payment the employee made me a cone. when I told him, “I asked for a cup, why I asked for big things.” he rolled his eyes and asked if it was important for me to have a cone with my cup (I don’t mind). one of the aromes I wanted was vanille with a cherry. when he scrubbed the ice, there was hardly any creep. I asked him to put something out of the ice, and he told me that he can't do that because then that ice won't be nice for the others. then he went on to argue with me about it when I mentioned that the ice that I had no creeping on it. when I mentioned that this is rude and I will write a bad evaluation. he said “please do” in a really antagonistic tone. it's almost like he enjoyed acting like an idiot on customers. last time I came before weeks), the hired who served ice cream, was a teenager and had hickeys over the neck. only a really unprofessional led ice stain. To be honest, to get a lot better ice on many places in london. avoid this place and the idiots who work here.
No great experience. the ice was usually delicious (although the white chocolate is sick sweet). but the guy behind the counter was quite unwilling and my coffee had something to swim in it. he told me it was a part of the bean he was, no, it's just a dirty cup. After he tried to tell me that the müll in my coffee was a feature he did it again. still shouldn't have come. next time we just go to other gelato from the station.
