While some dishes, like the laksa and crispy duck, receive praise for their flavorful execution, other menu items often miss the mark with average taste and higher prices. Guests appreciate the attentive staff but note the restaurant could benefit from updates to its decor and overall dining experience. Despite its proximity to the hotel and decent options for guests, discerning diners may find the local culinary scene offers stronger contenders for authentic Asian flavors.
Excellent service and very tasty meals and drinks we ordered. the manager andy and his assistent coco made us welcome and relaxed. even though I was getting out of the flu and not feeling very comfortable, I felt better due to the relaxed setting of bugis street. chandra pathman tambimuttu
It was extremely satisfying for the booze, the body and the spirit! it was a wonderful way to unwind the evening, since everything was so pleasant and satisfying.
4.5 rating. All the Asian entrees we had are on point. Nasi Goreng, Mi Goreng, Laksa, chicken rice are excellent. Seafood horfun was delicious but didn’t have as much gravy as I would get from a hawker center in Singapore. For dessert, we had the glutinous black rice soup which was good and fried banana fritter which didn’t quite taste right as plaintain was used. Also both desserts were presented with strawberry ice cream which doesn’t quite match. All in all a good authentic taste restaurant.
Held a buffet lunch for 40 family and friends to celebrate a 70th Birthday at this restaurant. Coco and her team were so accommodating and ensured that the whole event went off smoothly. Food was an amazing selection of quite authentic Asian fair to cater for a diverse range of ages.
It was raining and we were hungry so we decided to eat at this Asian restaurant in the Copthorne Tara Hotel just off High st Kensington. We had hot and sour soup with lobster that was great , sweet and sour giant prawns that was delicious and Singapore noodles that were divine. We finished off with Jasmine tea. It was a lovely meal
