We just love this restaurant, we have been going there for about 2 years now. The sushi is always perfect and we often do takeaways too. The restaurant is generally quiet, and has a lovely peaceful zen to it with its bamboo decor and wallpaper. Always our only choice for a meal out at Canal Walk : Located by Primmi and Tashas, not in the food court. Come on give this small business a chance : Buy one get one free on... View all feedback.

One of our favorite restaurants. Sadly they have closed down. I first thought it was for renovations as most shops and restaurants around Akiya closed to renovate, but we went for sushi at another place in the center only to be served by our regular Akiya waitress and she told us that they closed down.
One if my favourite intimate little Asian spots with attention to detail and tasty food. Sushi is beautifully made and really fresh. Service is very pleasant. Coffee is STRONG.
Really good service, kind waitress they go the extra mile to please the customer, I.e gave me a bowl of warm water to wash my hands when I asked.. sushi was amazing I asked the chef to choose for me and I was super impressed. For an authentic sushi experience I would recommend this place.
Decent food and reasonable prices. Yummy dumplings (not as good as the ones from china but still some of the best I've had in CT). Service was great. My udon soup was delish!
