After placing my order, I was handed a form to fill out asking how I found out ab... read more Just a heads up, this place is essentially a storefront for the MLM Herbalife. After placing my order, I was handed a form to fill out asking how I found out about Herbalife, my email, and my fitness and nutrition goals. There were advertisements for workout classes and numerous before-and-after weight loss photos all over the walls. I noticed the absence of fresh fruits or vegetables, so I asked the owner about it. His response was, “We’re 100% plant-based.” I pointed out that fresh fruit is, in fact, a plant. He clarified that they only use their own products, which consist of various powders. So, I ended up paying $6 for a mix of powders blended with ice. It tasted okay, but I was hoping for something fresh. I still can't help but laugh at the owner’s excuse about not using fruit because they’re “only plant-based.”
