Marlow's Tavern - Kennesaw

Had a great dinner, we both had the lobster roll and trout dive. both articles were good, come hot and quite fast, although they were busy. also our server was understandable via the menu and was very attentive. cocktails are also good

Had a great brunch here. the biscuits were delicious and the **** mary hit the place. service was great. will try again, more brunch elements again. I'm looking forward to trying her dinner menu.

The service at the bar was awful. I sat down and no one came to take my order for about 5 minutes! A white gentleman sat down and received excellent customer service. I just wanted a drink and a bite to eat after a long class, but instead I was treated poorly. When I finally got my food, it was as if they were treating me differently because I am a person of color. When I asked another bartender for silverware, she replied: "I didn't stock it, but let me check for you." That's not the point! She should have responded better, either by checking or automatically providing silverware with my order.

A business lunch. we have wings that were pretty good, spargelfries, the poke as appetizers, all right. Imagine my surprise when I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich! now it looked so delicious so that the fact that this was the most bland sandwich I ever tasted was depressed? I mean no salt, no pfeffer, no taste, only chewing air, how, it was a grilled sneakers's char? zero seasonings. nada. but if you're in that thing, that's the escape for you!

I have visited several Marlow's locations and have always had a positive experience. The prime rib french dip, priced at $18, is consistently delicious and I find myself ordering it every time, despite the small amount of aus jus served with it (you may need to ask for more). My wife enjoyed a fantastic burger, made with quality ingredients and very juicy. We also tried the pimiento arancini (fried rice balls) and found them to be great. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cool and cozy, with a more upscale feel than a typical pub. This higher quality experience justifies the slightly higher prices for most menu items.
