There is really some good food here. I miss the shrimp and oyster bordelaise they used to serve when they were across the street but what they have now is almost as great. View all feedback.
What Bryson N doesn't like about Messina's Late Night Grill:
This is located in the lobby of the MSY Airport La Quinta, but it is closed! I had been to it previously and it was a convenient place to get some food and some drinks when staying at the hotel, but it was very much closed on 9/17/2023. Not sure if they will reopen, because there were no chairs or tables and it looked like everything that wasn't nailed down was taken out. View all feedback.
Love love LOVE the family recipe Italian dishes. Spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parm are sooooo good!
Was staying in the hotel for an airport departure the next day. The weather was miserable so eating in the hotel restaurant seemed easy. I read the reviews and was expecting a nice meal. Both my husband and I were disappointed in the quality of the food...I ordered chicken parm and it was awful...like a frozen chicken cutlet with some sweet spaghetti sauce thrown on top of it. Should have walked over to the restaurants about 5 minutes from the hotel. Very crowded, not enough servers. Probably good for a beer and get dinner elsewhere.
Omgosh great food a little over priced but not much The bartender could use a new attitude she prolly been doing this for 30 years watching the clock and what she wants on tv maybe an off night for her I'm sorry she wants to be somewhere else my tab was 49.79 waiting on her again
This is a smaller restaurant and bar located in the lobby of the La Quinta Hotel near the airport. We ate a late evening supper after our arrival from the airport. They serve a mix of Cajun and Creole food plus typical pub/bar items (burgers, etc). The waitress/bartender was very friendly and provided great service. The food was reasonably priced. We would recommend have supper here.
Fresh from the airport I was delighted there was a place to eat in our hotel. Let me tell you, that Shrimp Tina was a perfect homecoming for this little Cajun/Creole. Bartender was delightful as the whole room enjoyed watching football. Good food !
