Bud's Broiler - Kenner

This Bud's is my absolute favorite! I've been coming here for 30 years, ever since high school, and every visit feels just like the last. The service can be a bit rough around the edges, but that's part of the charm that I've always appreciated. I love the smoked sausage burger and the chicken sandwich—extra sauce on both, please! I can't choose between them, so I always get both!

There's truly nothing like Bud's. I've been living in Baton Rouge for 20 years, but I grew up in Kenner and have always enjoyed dining at Bud's. The chili cheeseburger has been my favorite since childhood (and I'm 40 now!). This place still looks and tastes just like it did back then. I love coming here to reminisce.

Order the #6 with sauce! It enhances the flavor and any sauce that drips can be soaked up with your fries!

One star less for lack of table service. That's just their way as it's always been. Burgers and everything else still high quality and very fast. Top notch staff and very clean dining room.

Great burgers, the A frame building has been here since the 1960s. All food terrific burgers, sausage, chicken, fries, shakes. Friendly service! The wait isn't too long but everything is cooked to order so there is usually a short wait.
