The Clam Shack is hands down my favorite place for lobster rolls. Seriously, there’s no competition on the East Coast, especially in Maine. I’ve tried lobster rolls all over New England, and nothing comes close. I eagerly await summer just for my first taste from The Clam Shack. Be sure to order your lobster roll with “BETH” – that’s Butter and Mayo – it’s award-winning. I’m not joking! Your search for the best lobster roll ends here. Everything they offer, from their fried seafood to their onion rings and freshly squeezed lemonade, is worth the wait and the price. It’s not inexpensive, but that’s not the point of this review, so be prepared to spend a bit. It is absolutely worth it!
This restaurant is situated in a lovely location in the heart of a bustling area. The lobster I had was decent, although mine was served with butter and was on the colder side. I prefer my lobster to be warm. The restaurant offers plenty of seating and has a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.
This is the best lobster roll I've ever tasted! The roll itself is simple, yet of exceptional quality, featuring only the finest lobster meat, butter, and mayo on a soft, light bun. It truly doesn’t need anything more. It's absolutely delicious!
This was a beautiful place with a beautiful view. I'm vegan so def no place for me, but my husband enjoyed his lobster role and Clam Chowder soup. It was very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend The Clam Shack when you visit Kennebunk Port Maine. I can say your trip will be incomplete without visiting this place!
A classic Maine experience! A mouthwatering clam roll and an ice cold draft beer. No frills! Sit down at a picnic table, breathe in the ocean air and feast on simple Maine seafood prepared hot and tasty. My husband loved the clam strips with lemon and tartar sauce while my son particularly enjoyed a hot bowl of seafood chowder on a cool summer night.
