This was a beautiful place with a beautiful view. I'm vegan so def no place for me, but my husband enjoyed his lobster role and Clam Chowder soup. It was very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend The Clam Shack when you visit Kennebunk Port Maine. I can say your trip will be incomplete without visiting this place!
A classic Maine experience! A mouthwatering clam roll and an ice cold draft beer. No frills! Sit down at a picnic table, breathe in the ocean air and feast on simple Maine seafood prepared hot and tasty. My husband loved the clam strips with lemon and tartar sauce while my son particularly enjoyed a hot bowl of seafood chowder on a cool summer night.
Best Lobster Roll I have ever had. I’m a girl who loves a warm, buttery lobster roll and was scared to try the cold lobster roll. But this was AMAZING!!! Went back twice.
I can see why this place has a line. Well worth it. Had the fried clams and the lobster roll. Both so great and there was so much lobster on the roll and the clams were delish. Great low key place to have great food and beverage
Really clean restaurant. Americana vives. Employees seem happy to be there. Fries were a bit burned and had zero salt and the tiny ketchup packets annoying but the fried haddock sandwich was very good even better if they would include a lemon wedge tosquirt on it). $2 extra for gluten free bun and $1 for refill on lemonade seems petty with the high prices $31 for smalllemonade, fries and fish sandwich) but hey, at least they pay their employees closer to a living wage. On weekends you can enjoylive music wafting from joint next door. Be nicer if they had their own beach chill lounge music. Not really Into old 80?s rocksongs like Footloose. Only reason I give critiques is because this place is special overall but could be perfect.
