Contribute FeedbackDining at this restaurant was a mixed experience, with some dishes falling short like the overcooked salmon and bland mushroom risotto. However, the warm bread was excellent. The ambience was lacking, feeling like a barn gymnasium. On the lodging side, the hotel faced issues with staff availability and room allocation, leading to an uncomfortable stay for a family. Despite some positive aspects like clean rooms and good service, overall improvements are needed. On a brighter note, a separate review highlighted a great dining experience, with top-notch food, service, and entertainment perfect for special occasions.
Fantastic blackened swordfish entree special. Excellent Kennebunk Inn salad.
Short staffed but understandable........Fish and Chips way over done and tough. Asparagus on other dish was a pile of soggy green mush! C'mon, guys, you've done better and can do better !
Betty-Ann rocks! Had a wonderful time with a great friend and a lovely haddock sandwich!
This place is like an old pair of favorite slippers. Like many, we've been going there since before any of the present workers were born. Good food, and good live music early on a random Thursday night made sitting by the fireplace an inviting evening. Wish they'd paint the main dining room, as white walls do nothing for ambiance, but that's a petty gripe. Well served by Megan, it was a wonderful night out.
Salmon pinwheel poor at best. Salmon asparagus way overcooked. Pureed squash way too sugary sweet. Baked haddock green beans mashed potatoes fair to good. Draft beer icy cold. Basil squared cocktail excellent. Warm bread very good. Ambience totally lacking. Felt like we were dining in a baren gymnasium. Lights too bright. Nothing g onwood floors but scattered dining tables. Yuk!
