The food is disappointing, but the service is excellent, the prices are fair, and the portion sizes are generous!
I took the opportunity to celebrate my special day by exploring Kenmore Village in the morning. The first stop was this café. The service was very warm and friendly. I ordered a flat white and made a special request for poached eggs with smoked salmon, without any carbohydrates. The coffee was well-prepared with the perfect strength, and the smoked salmon was fresh with generous portions. If it weren't for the poached eggs being a bit overcooked, this place would definitely deserve a higher rating.
I really enjoy this café for its coffee and friendly, quick service. We usually visit after lunch for coffee and cake. Today, the desserts didn't look appetizing, so we opted for coffee instead. This large latte costs only $4.40, and it's hot and flavorful. Thank you, young staff!
Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
The portions were quite small. I paid $4 for just a handful of chips, and the food didn't taste very good; it certainly didn't taste fresh. As for the service, I rated it a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere was also pleasant, earning the same score. Overall, for a lunch meal, it was a bit disappointing considering the prices ranged from A$1 to A$20. Food: 2 out of 5.
