Description
Nestled conveniently off I-95, this restaurant offers a mixed dining experience that has garnered both praise and criticism. While some patrons rave about the tender ribs, crispy fried chicken, and delicious sides like homemade banana pudding and flavorful collard greens, others lament about the inconsistent quality and slow service. This restaurant has the best fried chicken and barbecue in town! The staff are extremely polite and truly prioritize customer satisfaction.
I had the BBQ fried chicken plate. The BBQ was good NC style and the breast was very moist and tasty. But the king of the plate were the sides. The green beans had great country flavor without the salt, the butter beans too. The Brunswick stew was great and the mac and cheese we cheesy and creamy. Oh and the banana pudding was homemade with meringue.
I went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday for the first time, and I was blown away by the amazing food. The ribs were so tender that they fell off the bone, the fried chicken was perfectly crispy and golden brown, and the collard greens were the best I've ever tasted! I will definitely be returning to this place again.
