We enjoyed a fantastic Italian meal with great quality food, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. We started with complimentary bread balls and olives, followed by generous portions of monkfish and delicious tortellini, paired with a half carafe of white wine. The evening was totally spoilt by the service. Arriving at 7.20 for our 7.30 table we waited an hour for three starters our party was for 7 people. 25 minutes later we are told our mains would arrive in 5 minutes, 35 minutes later the waiter came and told us that they had run out of chips! Absolutely unacceptable. We had been there over two hours and 5 of us had not eaten anything now being told that they had run out... View all feedback.
The best Sunday lunch I've had in over a year!!! Starters, main course and sweets were all fantastic and wonderfully presented. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. We ate at 4pm so the place wasn't too busy but still had a warm and pleasant ambiance. Will definitely go again and have already recommended it to family and friends.
Excellent food and menu choice. Great local pub, great service clientele eat early
Food OK but oneven of the meals was not very hot so sent back returned a little later a little warmer could have been better
Lovely meals, good sized portions, pleasant hosts, great service.
Excellent food and friendly service and staff. James the waiter was very helpful. Food delicious. The only problem we had was it was a little cold in the dinning room
