3 of us shared a meat ploughmans plate and that was so fresh and plenty to eat. The service was excellent also. We did tastings first and the Team member even though new was a full bottle on the wines we tried.
What User doesn't like about Gilberts Wines:
We recently went with another couple.We all just loved the rustic structure of the cellar door and attached restaurant. The staff were all lovely and helpful, wines were quite nice, but unfortunately the food was very very uninspiring, salads were bland with no wow factor...at all, we had a vegie stack that was little more than a flat dish of potato and a half onion on top.Our coffees cam one at a time spaced over 5-... Beautiful restaurant with a small menu. Very aware of gluten free issues. We had an amazing meal with exceptional service.

Here for lunch on a cold wet afternoon. great host, delicious food (the soup and ham soup was a highlight). their weeping are also excellent, as the plumen cann and sauce!
We were part of a very large group, but our delicious meals came extremely fast, served with just as delicious weeps. Thank you.
