The meal cost around £50 to £60 per person, and I found the value to be excellent for the quality of food and service we received. The ambiance was inviting, making it a perfect setting for a nice evening out. I phoned and spoke to Helen (manager and asked if they could accommodate for a severe nut (tree nut and peanuts allergy. Helen explained that all food is cooked fresh and they are confident with knowing what each dishes ingredients are and they will ensure clean utensils and work stations are used to prepare the allergy meal. Helen advised her husband was the chef (as it's a family business! And she would advise him of the allergy and also print a separate menu taking off the meals that contained nuts. We arrived and had a lovely little table with plenty of space for a pram (thank you! . The waiters were fantastic and very attentive to our needs. They were well aware of the allergy and made us all feel very confident in their ability to manage the allergy request. We had the roast beef dinner and the sticky toffee pudding. All I can say is, wow. It was hands down; The, Best, Sunday dinner I've ever had (sorry grandma . And the sticky toffee pudding was incredible! My wife was shocked to know she could have the pudding (as she NEVER gets to eat one! And equally loved all the food too. I think we've found out new local and can't wait to go back!
